The New New Deal by Michael Grunwald
ECONPress and Snell Library will be hosting author Michael Grunwald Thursday, September 13 at 12pm.
His new book, “The New New Deal,” examines the Stimulus Plan of 2009. The book “demolishes clichés and vividly reframes our thinking about President Obama and his stimulus package through a gripping narrative” and is “a pointed, in-the-trenches study whose thrust will be borne out with time.”
Needless to say, ECONPress is excited to host Mr. Grunwald and we hope that it will incite a lively debate over fiscal policy.
On April 1, ECONPress hosted Scott Sumner, of Bentley University and author of The Money Illusion. He spoke about his view of what caused the Great Recession and what the Federal Reserve should have done to prevent it.
