Working with ECONPress will give you firsthand experience in the development of the publication from start to finish. In the process you will have the opportunity to contribute creatively and logistically. Responsibilities vary depending upon the position, and include: selecting papers, fundraising and cost estimations, working with economics department faculty, event planning and execution, and strategic marketing for ECONPress. Being an editor for ECONPress will give you greater exposure to economic research and will contribute positively to your resume.

ECONPress meets once a week for continued planning and development. Additional scheduling obligations and deadlines can be found on the “Events” tab calendar for the upcoming semester.
We are always looking for proactive students who are passionate about economics to join our team. Students interested in joining the ECONPress team should be able to meet the weekly meeting time obligations, as well the required time necessary for contributing to the editing process.
Positions on the Editorial Board and Selection Committee are limited to Northeastern University students only. All Northeastern University students are eligible to apply, however we are most interested in students with majoring in economics or economics related fields.
